C276 Introduction

Super alloys or high performance alloys are available in a variety of shapes and contain elements in different combinations to obtain a specific result. These alloys are of three types that include iron-based, cobalt-based and nickel-based alloys. The ickel-based and cobalt-based super alloys are available as cast or wrought based alloys according to composition and application.
Super alloys have good oxidation and creep resistance and can be strengthened by precipitation hardening, solid-solution hardening and work hardening methods. They can also function under high mechanical stress and high temperatures and also in places that require high surface stability. HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

1.Core Definition

The pipe connection is achieved by screwing the internal thread of the pipe onto the threaded joint (or screwing the external thread of the joint onto the pipe), utilizing the mechanical interlocking force of the threads to connect the pipeline, without the need for welding and allowing for quick disassembly.

2.Core feature Ease of
use: Installation and disassembly only require a wrench, resulting in high construction efficiency. It is suitable for pipelines
that need frequent maintenance (such as building fire branch pipes, factory compressed air branch lines). Pressure limit:
Generally applicable to medium and low pressure scenarios with a maximum of 1500LB. Long-term vibration may cause thread loosening and leakage. Sealing assistance: Dependent on auxiliary sealing materials such as tape and sealant, the sealing reliability is weaker than socket welding.

1. Material selection: Choose appropriate materials, such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloy, based on specific
requirements. Select the hardness, corrosion resistance, and other properties of the materials.

2. Blank forming: The pipe fittings are mainly formed by pressing and forging round steel or steel ingots into blanks.

3. Machining: The blanks are machined using a lathe, including designing the parameters of the threaded joints, selecting appropriate machining tools and materials, and performing pre-processing (coarse and fine machining) steps. During the coarse machining stage, a thread milling machine or thread broaching machine is used for initial processing; in the fine machining stage, a precision lathe is used for meticulous processing to ensure the accuracy and surface quality of the joints.

4. Post-processing techniques: After processing, post-processing techniques such as deburring, grinding, and surface treatment are carried out to improve the durability and appearance of the joints.

5. Quality review: Measure and inspect the dimensions, shapes, and surface quality of the threads to ensure that the
joints meet the design requirements.

6. Assembly and inspection: Perform the assembly and inspection of the threaded joints through a strict assembly and inspection process to ensure that each joint meets the high-quality and high-performance standards.
