C276 Inroduction

Super alloys or high performance alloys are available in a variety of shapes and contain elements in different combinations to obtain a specific result. These alloys are of three types that include iron-based, cobalt-based and nickel-based alloys. The nickel-based and cobalt-based super alloys are available as cast or wrought based alloys according to composition and application.Super alloys have good oxidation and creep resistance and can be strengthened by precipitation hardening, solid-solution hardening and work hardening methods. They can also function under high mechanical stress and high temperatures and also in places that require high surface stability.
HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

THREADED UNION INTRODUCTION

Threaded unions are threaded pipe fittings, the most common type of pipe fitting in both industrial and domestic applications. They simplify pipe connections, make disassembly and replacement easier, and significantly reduce pipe connection costs.Industrial threaded unions are generally made of metal with high pressure resistance, and materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and brass. Domestic threaded unions are typically made of materials such as PC, PVC, and PE.

1. Raw Material Preparation: Round bar stock or billets (stainless steel, carbon steel, or alloy) are cut to size.

2. Forging (Closed-Die): Billets are heated to high temperatures and pressed in a closed die to form the rough shape of the three component parts.

3. Trimming & Shot Blasting: Excess material is removed, and the parts are shot-blasted to remove forging scale and refine the surface.

4. CNC Machining: The forged blanks are precision-machined to reach final dimensions, including creating sealing surfaces, nut faces, and internal/external ends.

5. Threading: High-precision threads (NPT, BSPT, etc.) are cut using CNC lathes or threading machines.

6. Surface Treatment & Finishing: Components are treated for corrosion resistance and undergo surface treatment.

7. Inspection & Assembly: Parts are inspected for accuracy against standards, then assembled (male and female subs + nut) and tested for tightness
